RILEY O’BRYAN – Tyrone S.
Riley O’Bryan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied film production. After moving to New York, he worked in television and online media, for such companies as the Fox network and the Onion before being hired by Alex to work at Kim’s Video. Impolex is his first starring role.  

KATE LYN SHEIL – Katje
Kate studied acting for four years at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, studying under Anna Strasberg, Geoffrey Horne, and Robert Castle. While there, she performed in Tolstoy’s Redemption, directed by Anna Strasberg, and starred as the title character in Federico García Lorca’s Yerma, directed by Robert Castle. She was photographed for the September 2008 issue of Vogue magazine, for an article about Emma Fletcher’s Lyell clothing line. In January of 2009 she went to Sundance as the star of the short film “Knife Point.” She will next be seen as the lead in Silver Bullets, Joe Swanberg’s next movie.

BEN SHAPIRO – Robinson
Ben has played drums in numerous bands and toured the world many times over, most notably with Asobi Seksu in 2007 and 2008. He attended Sarah Lawrence before moving to New York, where he currently works at cinematic staple Film Forum and is pursuing a MA in Cinema Studies at New York University.

BRUNO MEYRICK JONES – Adrian the Pirate
Bruno found his way to New York from England sometime in the early 2000s. He has played in numerous influential New York bands, none more so than as a member of Dan Melchoir’s Broke Revue. He currently plays with Prince Rupert’s Drops. Bruno, a noted enthusiast of mystery fiction, knowledge seeker and peculiar storyteller, was encouraged tin improvise all of his dialogue for Impolex.

ROY BERKELEY – Lazlo
Roy moved to Greenwich Village in the 1950 to persue a career as a folk music singer and songwriter. After palling around with Bob Dylan and the likes and releasing two albums – one entirely of Depression era protest songs – Roy was diagnosed with throat cancer and gave up music for good. He continued to teach at the New School before leaving New York for Vermont, where he enjoyed a brief stint as the local sheriff. After a long battle with his seventh cancer, he passed away in April of 2009.
