Alex Ross Perry was born in 1984 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He later attended film school at New York University. Impolex is his first film.

SEAN WILLIAMS – Director of Photography
Sean has worked alongside legendary filmmaker Albert Maysles for several years on such projects as Martin Scorsese’s Rolling Stones documentary Shine a Light, among many others. Film Comment praised Williams as ‘ingenious’ for his cinematography on Ronald Bronstein’s debut film Frownland, winner of the Special Jury Award at the 2007 South by Southwest Film Festival and the 2007 Gotham Award for Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You.

PRESTON SPURLOCK – Composer and octopus arranger
Preston has been a fixture in New York’s Downtown music scene for years. He performs both solo and with his bands The Sewing Circle and Huggabroomstick, with whom he often toured Europe. A talented multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, base and organ, as well as many others. His animated and stop motion short films have played at numerous festivals throughout the country.
